We tend to forget about the moon sometimes and that it can be just as difficult, if not more difficult a target to get a good shot of, as anything else. There's just not enough black to hid those noisey, turbulent bits.

Good onya Mike. For the seeing you had there's nothing wrong with those shots. Its amazing how discriminatory in our images we are becoming these days with the advances in astronomical hardware technology and processing platforms. They would have probably be considered excellent shots only 20-30 years ago.

JFMI was there a barlow involved?
