I have recently purchased a 350D and I got one of the m42 / EOS adapters from eBay for about $20 delivered. Works fine.
I did not get the style that allows autofocus to work, they were about $60.
All my Super Takumar lenses now fit the 350D giving me a wide range of views to play with...
