I acquired the DBK direct from TIS, approx 2 months prior to them exploding onto the local Aussie scene via York Optical, Bintel, Frontier Optics, etc.
I took the plunge as the A$ was so strong and I wanted a decent colour webcam without all the palaver of setting up the ST7 with CFW8A, cables, cooling, etc. I’m having a ball with the DBK on double stars.
I’ve still got the DMK for the Moon, Sun and hopefully Jupiter once the seeing returns to typical SE Qld conditions.
