David, any late model EQ6 (black or white) is fine. The hand controller is the V3, not the mount. You plug the V3 hand controller into any EQ6 GoTo mount and away you go. As long as the mount is the GoTo version (Synscan, Skyscan, Syntrek, EQ6 GoTo ready,).
