Well, I went up to the Clubhouse planning to stay for about 1 hour just to let anyone turning up know that there is no observing coz of cloud (obviously
).
Well 2.5 hours later I got out of there! Yep it was cloudy but the few that still arrived sat around and we talked EP's and stuff.
One lady who has been at our monthly nights regularly as a visitor turned up excited as she has bought herself an 8" Dob! We helped her decide which EP's to replace the bad ones she got with it.
So the night wasn't a total waste at all.
Let's hope the weather plays fair next friday night.
