I have used up my annual astro budget by just purchasing some cold weather snow gear from ALDI.
They had 2 piece snow pants and jacket for $99 and a pair of snow boots for $30. Excellent Gortex fabric with lots of pockets in the pants to hold eyepieces and filters and such. Only 2 pockets in the jacket.
The problem I find with ALDI is that their range of sizes and stock number is very limited.
I got the last snow suit from one ALDI store, and the snow boots from another as the first did not have my size.
Excellent value for anyone who can find them. I have been scouring op shops for some time looking for a replacement set of ski pants, but they were all too small (or maybe I am too big).
