I too have not made myself clear , Sorry Jjnettie . I had visions of seeing my Jupiter processed by you into an acceptable image! I loved your honist reply and lass, at my age that's important. As for imaging Jupiter, it was my very first success getting it onto the computer screen, it gave me a wonderful thrill, and with Mick's comments of my moon shot, I got carried away, but from your comments and Uchtungbaby's, I'm happy that I did submit it and the added shots. That is something IIS has brought home to me, the terriffic friendly, helpfull replies. It is without doubt a great organisation, thanks to Mick Salway's efforts.
Jjanettie, the illuminated finderscope and the laser pointer finder I have made and fitted made it possible for getting the planet onto the computer screen. Both have made viewing and digital imaging with the Toucam a pleasure. I've spent hours trying to find objects one reads about, and finally dragging the scope back indoors frustrated to the point of asking myself, WHY OWN A TELESCOPE?
I have had thoughts of making a larger scope, until I read Ken from Snake Valley's comments. I wish you all the best with your viewing and imaging. It takes much learning to get results, but that is what makes the game so interesting and like Mick wrote, "When it all comes together it is rewarding."
