I'm a photographer/retoucher in the advertising and fashion industry. I work out of a Studio in Brisbane.
I'm also married with no kids. My method of gaining funds is either to sell off old camera gear (this is how I bought my Dob) or enchourage the wife to spend money on somthing for herself, then I get to spend the same amount on astornomy gear as its "only fair".
This seems to work well if the money is there to begin with, but not so well when we are feeling poor (which is more often than not).
