Funny you should mention that...
I'm toying with the idea of having a "Jupiter Quadrature" get-together at my place, 3 months before opposition next year. At quadrature Jupiter is overhead just before dawn, probably the best time of the year for imaging.
And the nighttime temps are still ok, getting down to single figures but not yet subzero.
This would be mid-April or there abouts.
