We're using very basic equipment compared to others on the forum so we can't expect to have the same results and as beginners and we're in the older age bracket
we appreciate your encouraging comments.
We're using a Skywatcher 8" Newt - EQ5 mount dual drives - " rack and pinion focuser "
and basic Pentax ist DL
We haven't mastered our polar alignment yet and we have just attached our new low profile focuser and now have a Laptop. We also now have a 2 X right angle finder for the camera which will help our old eyes with focusing
So hopefully we can improve on our earlier images with our alignment more accurate and equipment to help with focus.
Just waiting for the weather to break towards the end of the week to test the new extras
