I have the EQ6 mount and when I park it it goes to home, which is not the SCP but the exact position the scope was in when the mount was powered up. You can easily test this by pointing the scope up at the zenith say and then powering up the mount. Then send it 'home'This is one of the aspects of the german mounts I don't like, at least the skywatcher EQ series There is no correlation between the declination and RA circles as far as SCP goes, or anything else for that matter? The circles might as well not even be there for all the good they serve. Mind you with the polar scope well aligned it doesn't really matter.
