That's the nice thing about this time of year downt here... cold (too cold for reptiles) and no tics. ASWA holds their astro camp's in the area in March & October, and at those time such things as snakes are a real risk.
I got stung by a bull ant yesterday, a moment after taking that 3rd shot actually. But that's not so bad.
Always have a first aid kit in my backpack and in the car though, so as prepared as we can be.
