It's a hard job with just the ToUcam Al. Try running it through a splitter program and just process the red AVI channel and see how you go. You might even find that there is leakage across the channels and the green might be a better go. The red was best in mine, but you never know.
This is one of those situations where the monochrome camera is going to leave the ol' ToUcam sitting in its own...dust.
