I don't know of anyone else around the area here that has been making any astro related purchases lately ..... nor do I know of anyone packing the 4wd and heading bush for a week camping at a nice dark site with said new gear.

The Planetary Imaging Camp here in Victoria started yesterday and goes for 10 days! Maybe that's the cause
