Well done Paul! You must have gotten some decent weather. It hasn't stopped raining here for nearly two weeks.

Galaxies are the hardest to get fine detail with. Typically significant detail is on a much smaller scale to nebulae so the conditions have to be great to resolve them. As with webcam images, the most detail can be obtained by combining many images. I use the sigma-rejection combination method exclusively as it tends to reject the most noise and bring out the most detail.
