NGC 3576 in Halpha with an ED 80

8 x 10 minutes at ISO 1600 with an Astronomik H alpha filter
ED 80/canon 300 D (modified)

location-far from dark back yard in Winston Hills, NSW

used Deep Sky Stacker for registering and stacking images-love how easy it is to use-as also the price (free)

just two days past full moon but that's when the narrow band filters come into their own

its for objects like these that I sometimes wish I had more aperture..but in the meantime this is the best I can do

comments and suggestions welcome

thanks for looking !
