Yeap, that's all OK. It appears no matter what settings I change in CCDSoft the problem remains the same.

I posted a message on the Yahoo! CCDSoftV5 group and the suggestion there is the cable is at fault between ST7 & LX200 (the guider cable), not being seated correctly or being lose in a plug or having dirt on the contacts.

I hope that is the case, that's an easy fix, but I have to admit I'm skeptical after all the troubles I have had with the internals of my scope, I just wonder if the camera has some fault also on the guider port.. if it was lightning that killed the scope, perhaps it transferred through the guider port in to the camera.

Time will tell, I'm going to test some theories tonight when I get home.
