Yeah, HOughy it was about mag -1.7 I think. Not as bright as Venus obviously, but it was up there.
Here's an animation as well. Venus is in the lower right of frame, Betelgeuse is the next brightest star in frame.
All images were 15 sec exposures so the animation is roughly 7.5x real speed (ignoring time between shots).
