I have not posted for a while, it has been cloudy and some of that stuff that falls from the sky has occured, I think its called rain.
I have just returned from the Bintel shop in Melbourne with a 10" Dob with a 10:1 crayford focuser, X5 powermate and a few other goodies on back order.
The help at the store is great and anyone in Melbourne thinking of getting a scope should at least go and talk with them.
Anyway now the wait begins for the clouds to part long enough to use the use scope.

I also attended the Public Night at the Mornington Peninsula Astronomical Society on Friday night just gone, unfortunately it was very cloudy but probably just as well because if I had seen thru their 18" scope I would be ruined for life. A very interesting and well run evening.
