Yeah the ED lately has been my patience saver. It is more forgiving of guide errors and does a good job of imaging. I have been really pleased with its performance and would recommend it to anyone as a imaging scope. Added to this is the fact that it is really easy to focus. No need to use a hartman mask, at focus if produces its own diffraction spikes to my eye. You might also like to look at the Lagoon I took on Friday night, this was also done with the ED.

I am now being tempted to maybe get a refractor as my primary imaging scope. Maybe a Tak. But have to pay for the shack over on Yorks first.
