My first true colour narrowband image, Vela SNR

Im so excited. Tonight I thought Id follow up last nights Ha imaging of the Vela SNR with the mighty 300mm f2.8 lens from Bert, and Houghys equally amazing cooled DSLR, by imaging the same area with my Baader narrowband O3 filter. I then aligned them both, and used the 03 shots as blue and green, and the Ha as red, here is the final result, far better then Id hoped for a first go. And remember, this imagign took place under a near full moon!!

Ha image, 5x15mins ISO400 sensor temp 3 degrees
O3 image 4x15mins ISO400 sensor temp 3 degrees

as they were taken on different nights the alignment wasnt perfect so its not the full field, I cropped off parts that werent covered by both shots.

Thats it, the narrowband imaging bug has well and truly bitten me now
