Trifid 7 May
Well last night the galaxy shooting was a complete disaster. Went for M83 and took nearly 40 minutes worth and this was still not enough signal to get a good image. Plus Dew started forming on the corrector plate and the wind was no help either.
So in desperation I used the ED80 to image the Trifid. Had some guiding errors for some reason, but still very happy with the image. The image is a combination of exposures amounting to 34 minutes.
