Lightbulb SOLD: 13mm Widescan 84 deg FOV

If you love an emersive wide FOV, and have a slower focal ratio scope (f/7.5 -f/10 or slower), this may be the EP for you! It has a wider FOV than even the much loved Nagler eyepiece, and has quality Japanese construction.

I won it at Lostock 2007, it has only seen light twice, once in the ED80 (f/7.5) in which it produced a beautiful view of the moon, and once in my new 20" scope, which has too fast a focal ratio (f/5) to suit this EP.

The prize was presented as a brand new EP, so I guess it is now "virtually brand new". It comes with caps and the original box.

Here is a review of the EP from Cloudy Nights. As you will see, it is rated favourably against the upper end wide field EP's in slower scopes such as SCT's:

They used to retail for around the $300 mark. I am not sure who stocks them at the moment in Australia. I'll sell for $180 (AUD) incl postage to anywhere in Australia.

I have attached some snaps to whet your appetite.

PM me if you are interested.
