IT! The last 15 years or so were spent programming in Basic, VB, Turbo Pascal, Forth, Fortran, C, C++ and finally Delphi...my personal favourite.
I was able to get a package in 2000 and then in 2001 got my current job as a software developer, using Delphi, for ILID...who you have probably never heard of. We make electronic price labels with an LCD that shows the current price, the smooth part is that we send the data (price changes) through the existing building lighting. The code size for this system is currently running to about 230,000 lines. Check out
