Hi all,
I received a magical email inviting me here, not sure where it came from but I'm glad. What a great site for aussie astronomy!
I plan to have a good look around soon. But in the meantime, here is my first offering,
As well as the odd galaxy shot I have been concentrating on emission nebula images, combining long-exposure Hydrogen-alpha with RGB to get detailed colour images.
This is one I completed recently of the carina nebulae NGC3603 (left)and NGC3576 (right). These two nebula appear to be one, but 3603 is almost twice as far away as 3576.
