A good turnup last night with nine iceinspacers and six friends,after a BBQ feed enjoyed a mixed bag of observing, also jjj using her new camera for the first time? she was very happy with what she achieved in such a short time.
Saturn and Jupiter showed such crispness for such average coditions, Comet 2007 E2 Lovejoy was observed low down but still showing some hint of a tail,I was able to find admittedly with some difficulty Henize 2-111 in Centaurus also NGC5307 befor the clouds forced us to call it a night about 00:30.
Some nice Meteors were seen during the night.
