How did you hear about us?
We've got a member or two in Mornington, and they're having an observing session this weekend.. perhaps you could make it? Read the thread "iceinspace star party in victoria".
How long were you up for, watching the meteors? The rate is predicted to be at max, 40/hr, so you can only expect 1 every minute or two. I've heard that approx 4am is the best time.. maybe 2am was too early?
Also, (have to ask) were you looking in the right direction? They will originate from near Mars, so have a look for the bright orange star in the east..
