Off to a great start Jim ! I want one of those CCD's too dude.
Try the Celestron 6.3 reducer on your scope,It should work ok and make things a bit easier...It's a real ask at that focal length on anything but the best of mounts .
If your want some help on processing just email me and I'll be glad to help sought out some of you clipping issues and help you with some more advance layering techniques to bring out contrast and detail.
