Depends on what you want to image. The camera and a good quality 50 or 100mm lens will do great widefield shots constellation shots. If you are able to track then you will be able to go deeper than just the stars. With a 50mm lens you will be able to go for 15 to 20 sec depending on the declination you are shooting towards.

If you only have the 10" dob to shoot through then you will only be able to shoot for 0.6sec before you get star trailing.
