Judging from the photos and people who I know are totally brainwashed about their Macs, the ad is appealing to young urban professionals...people who pride themselves on thinking and living outside the square, like graphic artists and designers, plenty of money to spend probably not kids and morgages yet.
I've got to admit that the new Vista security measures , which inspired the ad, are ridiculous and clumsy. I'll be sticking with XP as long as humanly possible.
