I guess you don't need a big telescope of your own when you can use the ones at the observatory.. The closest observatory to me isn't really a domed observatory as such.. they've got a 20" reflector though.. i've looked through it a few times and the views are amazing.
I've had my handle "iceman" since about 1990 when I got into computers and belonged to a coding/cracking group on the commodore 64!
It's been with me since then through online gaming etc.
