picture taken same rig, same night but with a pentax *istDS

A comparison of files reveals why Pentax *istDS cameras should never be used for deep space astro shots. For short lunar images they are OK but not long exposure shots. The image is made up of a few 5 minute, 3 minute 2 and 1 minute shots at iso 200. It is bl00dy horrible. There is more noise in it than a blizzard in the arctic. Note same scope same night, same autoguider (he he Scott) and same setup using Scott’s cometraker , his coma corrector etc. no auto noise setting was used, darks , flats, bias were taken and used in the mutilation of this image. The blue bias was impossible to get rid of, LOL. Wonder if you can see the difference?
