[FS]: Robofocus fitted JMI 2" NGFC - SOLD

Offer now sold. Thanks Houghy.
=================================== =============

Are you…
tired of dealing with mirror flop in your SCT?
having difficulties reaching the Critical Focus Zone (CFZ) with a fast instrument?
frustrated by focus shift due to temperature changes?
looking at automating your focusing process during imaging sessions?
disappointed at soft or out of focus astro photos?

Well look no further…

For Sale:
JMI NGFC(M) 2" Crawford focuser (with compression ring)
RoboFocus stepper motor with version 3.1 controller
RoboFocus software (v3.2.2)
Ribbon and serial cables
Documentation
Note: No power supply included. You will need to source a regulated 12v - 0.8amp power supply. This can be purchased up at Jaycar, Dick Smith or other electronics shops.

Asking A$650 + postage (approx $10)

The stepper motor can be controlled either manually or computerised with supplied software (RoboFocus Control Program). Would highly recommend computer control to get the full benefits of automatic temperature adjustment and focusing. Product integrates with FocusMax, CCDSoft, MaximDL/CCD and other ASCOM compliant programs.

I bought this focuser approximately a year ago and immediately replaced the JMI motor with a RoboFocus stepper motor. This significantly improved focusing with fine adjustments to 0.0005 of an inch (0.0127mm microsteps). This has been my critical piece in the imaging train for some time, however I'm looking at moving on to other astrophotography projects hence no longer need this item.

PM me if you're interested. Thanks for looking.
