You could 'break down' like Brendan and end up staying longer
or drive through the night
then you would only miss one night.
Anyway the whole idea started for people who work during the week to see more dark sky. And maybe the interstateers may try to sleep a bit more before they leave for home. I'd hate to be restricted to just the weekend, it wouldn't be an Astrofest experience.
