I was watching the news at the weekend and they had some footage of the rain up north lately. I said to my wife the perhaps they should look at building a pipeline to carry the water from there down to here...actually, maybe we should construct a series of canals joining the wetter areas of the planet to the drier ones? Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Maybe we could call them canali...people observing us through a telescope might think we are a dying planet.
