Jupiter + STrD-2 - 21st Feb (2 images)

Hi all

Here's 2 images captured on the 21st Feb (local time), the first one at 04:43 in average seeing and the second at 06:02 in slightly above average seeing.

The seeing was only average on this morning, and my collimation was off for most of the session. I fixed the collimation near the end and captured the last image, which resulted in the 06:02 image.

The collimation changed as the session went on due to the weight of the mirror on the springs (as the tube went more vertical). I've now replaced the springs with heavy-duty ones from Bob's Knobs, which should help the scope hold collimation better. I've also replaced the screwdriver-needed collimation screws with some lovely Bob's Knobs which will make it easier too.

The first image shows STrD-2 transiting at the CM, while in the second image it's just about to set. White spot A6 can be seen above the STrD-2 in the first image

These are LRGB images, with the Synthetic Luminance channel made by combining 75% of red and 25% of the green channels.

Thanks for looking.
