I use those little garden solar lights when I am observing some are great go all night others only till 10pm. Looking for some red ones actually or a way to redden the current ones.

Alex,
get some red lens dye from a car accessories place. Only a few dollars for a little 10 or 25ml bottle with a little applicator brush. I got some from auto one or some place like that. Just paint it over the light.
Just don't put them out the front when you're finished!
