I'm use to be Sound Engineer for my day gig, I'm now an Audio Visual Manager, and at home I probably have close to 30k of recording gear. But most of my recording gets done on my palm pilot. It's just easy. It's a great creative tool because you dont get bogged down in "the sound" which always happens to me. As soon as I have a mic in front of me I put the engineer hat on and it just sucks the creative juices right of out me. I only use the palm if for jotting ideas down so that I dont forget them but it has turned out to be my most used recording device.
