A bit about myself hey?? Hmmm... well I'm a single male capricorn -- OOPS wrong website for that information!
In all seriousness, I'm relatively new to astronomy and have been lurking about the forums gathering info for a while.
I've just spent a rather large sum of money (for a student anyway) on a rather small telescope. This went against almost all the advice I had read to go for a dob. I am extremely happy with the result however.
In a moment I will post some pictures in the equipment forum.
I am from Brisbane and would be interested at some stage to come along to any local group observing sessions.
