Be quite careful of these "cute" critters as they can carry Australian Bat Lyssavirus (Australia's version of rabies). Two people have died since the discovery of the virus and it only takes a small bite and the saliva will transmit the virus. If you have not been vaccinated or get the gamma globulin as soon as you can, its certain death.
