Thors Helmet in Hydrogen Alpha, full moon.

Hi all
It was clear again last night so did another Ha imaging session. This time Thor's Helmet.

This is the deepest Ha image ive shot with the 10 inch scope total of 1 hour, 45mins.
7x15 mins ISO 400, Baader 7Nm Ha filter, Idas uv/ir, MPCC. 10 inch f5.6 Newtonian, hand guided.

The warm temperatures are a pain. I took 3x 15 minute Darks, as well as usual flats and offset, processed in Iris. The un-processed images had stacks of noise in them. Mind you its amazing that DSLRs can ever do 15 minute un/cooled images in warm nights. Finished it off with Gradient Xterminator and Noiseware.

Im surprised the bubble came out, I thought only Thors wings had Ha light but there must be in the bubble too.

Sky was extremely bright not only due to the Moon, but some smoke haze about too. I could smell bushfire smoke all night.
