hi guys, what advantage, if any, is there by using rawshooter to process raws, over canon photo professional? or say CS2 (which i dont have

) . To my understanding there was little difference in using 16bit tiffs to stack with, post process, and programs like imagesplus just automated the conversion to tiff from raws when stacking anyway, and so in affect only process tiffs. nothing other than the usual raw stuff you can do in supplied software, ie white balance ect. can be done as if done at the time of capture - i dont have CS2 so i cant use that for working with raws - i do remember the nice features in CS1 - like de vignetting ect. with my old nikon 5700 raws tho
TIA
