McNaught at Gosford Waterfront

As RB said in his thread the other day, I met up with him on Friday night (26th) to image the comet.. It was a very difficult target due to local light pollution and the waxing gibbous moon in the North.

2 of these images are made of 2 exposures combined - 1 for the foreground and 1 for the comet.

Canon 350D + Sigma 17-70mm lens on fixed tripod. Exposures ranging from 45-60 seconds @ ISO100.

We had lots of drunken locals draped in Aussie flags wandering past while we were imaging.. was funny One car load stopped and asked if we knew where the fireworks were!?

Thanks
