Actually i to have an EQ5, and other than the Comet shots i do all my wide fields with the Camera on it.
If the Mount is pretty well aligned i dose quite a good job, i dont say it would be to flash on very long exposures, but on anything up to 3 minutes plus it dose reasonably well.
