It is actually, it's a little surprising but it really is quite a good image from arms distance. I've been showing it around and 3 people watching it at the same time has been no problem, all commenting the image is quite large and viewable. Viewing angle is not a problem - looks perfect from almost any angle. It has AV out also, so for larger groups can be plugged in to a TV where it outputs a higher resolution (700 odd pixels wide).

I haven't viewed a 6x4 print side by side with this yet to determine what the difference is visually with respect to resolution/detail.

You can zoom in on the images, but that's a little more cumbersome than I was hoping for (Menu -> zoom in, not just a zoom button).

Oh and not that it makes much difference - but I just checked and it's 4.3 not 4.2, I got it wrong in my earlier email.
