I think you are saying "as well as my current scope" not to replace it ..if so why not . The colour may or may not annoy you so figure that out first if it does dont go there..if not why not..this comes from a fool with 5 scopes from 70mm to 300 mm reflectors and refractors..and have not even started on cassigrains yet
I like to think of it sortta like golf when need many clubs
