I would stick to the SCT. The 2 inches will come in handy.
Plus you also have a smaller portable setup. Unless the refractor is an APO, then your going to get a blue halo around bright stars, and planets will be hard to see without filters due to this fact too.
Your on a good wicket, stick to it.
