It all makes sense now. The focuser sounds like a very good feature of the telescope. By the sounds of it, I won't be fiddling around to get the right focus anymore, GREAT!
Also, I thought it was best to ask you, but I may be getting enough money to upgrade to the 10" GSO Dobsonian (practically your exaxct telescope) from the 8". I am still at a good beginner to intermediate level, but do you (or anyone else, feel free to comment) feel that it's best to stick with the 8" and invest in extra accessories? I mean I don't know if I like the idea of having to lug around a 10" telescope and would just prefer one that I could take outside in a manner of seconds. I guess if I do go the next step I'll be a victim of 'apeture fever', wouldn't want that to happen, but what do you think I should do?
