Two of every kind shall come to you to keep them alive; of birds after their kind, and of beasts after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind.’ (Gen. 6:19–20)
Genesis 7:2 talks of
clean.....not clean. Here the distinction is to do with sacrifice (Gen8:20); later, with eating.
Genesis 7:8-9 is a basic description of everything entering the Ark "
as God had commanded Noah."
