I did about 30 radio sessions last year in my day job and was almost enjoying them at the end
. In case you have not done any before, my advice is:
1. Prepare and rehearse a statement that covers the main points you want make - and keep it succinct.
2. Write down phone numbers dates IIS web address to prompt in case you get flustered
3. Have 2 or 3 short annecdotes to provide colour - at 6.50 the announcer will appreciate some light material
Finally, watch the time - I guess you are the last item before the news
